Guest rooms and suites will be reinvented, aiming for warm and welcoming elegance. New floors and wardrobes, furniture and fabrics all come alive in the soft glow of discreetly installed lighting fixtures. Bright and fresh bathrooms feature new sanitary ware and clear wall segment. For something special, nine rooms will feature an outdoor jacuzzi, and to make sure everyone is comfortable, four rooms will be redesigned especially for guests with limited mobility. The Royal Apollonia’s guests are bound to appreciate the enhanced gastronomic offerings. The popular Akakiko Japanese restaurant will be extended to include an outdoor pergola covered floating deck for a unique dining experience. But it will also gain a neighbour: an all-new à la carte theme restaurant. The existing main buffet restaurant will be renovated and rearranged to provide a higher open-air seating capacity. A choice of bars complements the restaurants: the indoor bar will be expanded and upgraded, and a new pool bar will be accessible from the pool itself as well as from the surrounding deck. In the gardens, the original pool will be replaced by a much larger free-form pool of 523 sq. meters with a palm island, a wooden bridge, and a jacuzzi. For the little ones, a new themed children’s pool and a club will be installed a few steps away. To complete the leisure experience, the health club will be refurbished and rearranged to accommodate new contemporary spa facilities. So, take note: May 2013 marks the beginning of a new era… at the Royal Apollonia beach.
