The advantage of Larnaka, the third largest town of Cyprus, is that it is large enough to provide everything one needs but is not too large to become overcrowded. There are beautiful beaches, several archaeological sites and six museums all within the centre of the city. Thus Larnaka constitutes an interesting district for visitors but also, due to its location, provides an excellent base from which to get to know the central and eastern section of Cyprus. |
