Petra tou Romiou – Aphrodite’s Rock
Few sunset locations combine landscape and mythology quite like Petra tou Romiou, or Aphrodite’s Rock. According to legend, this stretch of coastline is associated with the birth of Aphrodite, the ancient Greek goddess of love and beauty.
The enormous rocks rising from the water create striking silhouettes as daylight begins to fade. Arrive before sunset and walk along the pebbled shore while the changing light transforms the landscape. It is one of those places where you may find yourself taking far more photographs than planned.
Sea Caves & the Edro III Shipwreck

The Tombs of the Kings Coastline
